Sometimes, motivated by the best of intentions, we fail to give our kids a menu of balanced activities, when it comes to vacation time. In this 5 minute coaching video I speak about 6 ‘balancing’ activities that parents can use. These activities are easy to do and hugely important for building the child’s inner strength.
You will notice that the list does not include electronics. When planning each day, it is okay to set aside some time for electronics but, most certainly not while engaging in the kind of activities I speak about in the video.
I also highly recommend that parents do these activities together with the kids. In that way, not only are the parents also benefitting from the personal inner health this brings, but the family bonding that takes place is extremely important for everyone’s neurochemistry. And with healthy neurochemistry, we are all smarter, healthier and happier.
